Implantation of the percutaneous valve is currently reserved for patients included in a clinical research protocol conducted in 3 sites. One of these sites is the Institut Hospitalier Jacques Cartier.

The inclusion criteria are very strict and involve very high risk patients in whom surgery is not recommended.

Several tests are necessary prior to the procedure in order to verify that all inclusion criteria have been met.
