AFTER THE PROCEDURE

After completion of the examination, your cardiologist will give you the report and the conclusions of the MRI test. In case that a coronary stenosis should be detected, we will discuss with you the need for a coronary angiogram to visualize and treat the potential narrowings.

If you undergo a stress MRI examination, you will have an EKG after the procedure.

In some instances, coronary angiography is performed immediately after stress MRI (in cases of angina during or upon completion of the examination, EKG abnormalities…). The results are forwarded to your referring cardiologist without delay (on the same day if necessary).
